PhD Student
Alexandra obtained her master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology with honors at Università degli Studi di Pavia in November 2021. For her master’s thesis she did an internship in Organic Chemistry at the department of Drug Sciences focusing on the design, synthesis, and optimization of RGD β-turn inducers peptidomimetics as integrin inhibitors for the treatment of aggressive cancers. Alexandra is now pursuing her research activity with a PhD in Chemistry (XXXVII cycle) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Milan. She is currently working on the design and synthesis of covalent inhibitors for the treatment of Neglected Tropical Diseases and poor prognosis cancers.
